Do we offer one on one programming?

One on one programming is available, this will be to the discretion of the instructor and for a fee. Contact the respective instructor for scheduling and to set up an appointment. 

How do we sign up for programs, events?

You can follow this link to see our current list of programs/events and register. All programs are free of charge and if you do not register, you are free to still show up. 

How much does it cost to attend programs?

Events are free unless otherwise stated. 

All ages?

All ages are welcome, but there are recommended age ranges for programs. Check the program page for more info. We encourage parents to stay with their children and play in intergenerational programming. 

Best practices for bringing young kids?

We warmly welcome families to our event, and you are more than welcome to bring your children. However, please be advised that we do not provide childcare services on-site. We kindly request that parents ensure their children remain in close proximity and under their supervision throughout the event. Our facilitators are dedicated to program delivery and teaching responsibilities, and our setting is not equipped for childcare.

Can anyone record at the Your Move MKE Community Center Studio?

We’re delighted to offer exclusive recording studio time opportunities for attendees of the Restorative Justice Cipher. However, if you are unable to secure a slot during the event, you may contact us to schedule an appointment at your convenience. Please be aware that a minimal fee will be incurred for this service.

How long has Your Move MKE been operating?

We’ve been operating as a non-profit since 2020, and we’ve been doing the HHCC since late 2017.

I would love to donate an item to Your Move MKE, do you offer donation slips?

Yes, as we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, therefore we do. We also have an Amazon Wish List. Check out our donate page!

I have to complete community hours for court, do you have any volunteer opportunities?

How can I have one of your programs come to my school, church, venue, or event?

We are enthusiastic about the possibility of hosting our programs at your venue. Kindly reach out to us at your earliest convenience to initiate a dialogue and explore the potential collaboration further. We look forward to discussing the details with you.

I don’t have any experience in making music, dancing or playing chess; can I still volunteer?

Yep, of course! There are plenty of tasks available that don’t require creative expertise. If you WANT to learn, one of our qualified instructors can crash course you as well. 

Do you offer any internship opportunities?

We are not offering any internships at this time.
